Mrs. Casey, a native of Boyce, Virginia, worked many years as a stockbroker in Winchester, Virginia. She was known for her avid love of animals of all kinds. She spent many late nights anxiously awaiting the births of the new foals every year. Although she did have some favorites, each and every horse and foal was special to her.
As the matriarch of one of West Virginia's most successful racing Families, she and husband James Casey bred and owned more West Virginia Breeders Classics winners since that race began in 1987.
Her smile, enthusiasm, knowledge, love and presence is greatly missed.....
